Hey guys I hope you’re all well and are having a lovely week
I am SOOOOOO sorry for the long delay you have had to put up with! I have been so stressed with finishing all of my college work, but I am now free from college so I am going to be putting more time and dedication into my posts!
I have recently had a few requests from people with some ideas for a new blog post! One of these being how to have a fun outing with only £20.
I know for a lot of people, £20 isn’t a lot of money however, you don’t primarily have to spend a lot of money on a fun day out! Here is what my £20 outing looks like … ENJOYYY!
When it comes to making a day trip worthwhile, you want to be spending it with the people you love most, this could either be family or friends. I always think that a day with friends and family makes you really appreciate the life you live anyway so you don’t necessarily need to go shopping or to a theme park in order to have an amazing day!
Time to decide what to do … I personally think that taking simple walks turn out to be the best days when spent with the right people. There are numerous places where you can go for walks and a lot of these places also have gardens so you can pack a picnic and even take your dog.
You don’t even need to worry about packing food coolers to keep your ice pops cool as there is a 99% chance there will be an ice cream van selling lots of different ice pops for only a small price.
You will even have enough time and money left over to do something else afterwards! I recommend popping to a cheap shop and buying a few drinks then taking them back and enjoying them either in the garden having a good old chin wag or indoors watching movies and ordering a takeout!
There are also a number of different other things that you could do with £20, however this is how I would personally make an amazing day worthwhile only spending a small amount of money and spending less allows for more saving, especially for retirement which they say the sooner you start the better off you will be. I will leave a link at the bottom of this post which will take you straight to the Personal Capital Retirement Planner if you wish to take a look 🙂
I would finally like to add a little sentence about the lovely woman who requested for this post. Thank you to Personal Capital for setting this little project for me, I have had a wonderful time taking pictures and writing the post.
I hope that you enjoyed this post and I shall see you guys again soon
