Things to do on a Sunday

Hey!

Sundays. That day of the week which is more depressing than Monday morning at work

Most of the time, my Sunday is spent being bored and eating my body weight in junk food when in fact I could be using the day to be productive and help me kick start my week.

There are many things that you can do to turn a boring Sunday into a more pleasant one, I am going to be sharing with you my top things to do on a Sunday in the hope that it gives you ideas on how to kick start your week or just have a better Sunday in general.

1.       Go for a walk

Going on a walk is the most typical thing to do on a Sunday. I really enjoy a walk whether it be in the countryside, national trust gardens or even just into town. Walking can help to clear your mind if you’ve had a bad week and therefore gives you a more positive outlook on the week ahead.

2.       Pamper yourself

Nothing quite beats a pamper. If you’ve been out the night before and have woken up with the worst hangover or if you are just gloomy at the fact its Sunday, give yourself a pamper – have a bubble bath, exfoliate your skin, moisturise, paint your nails, do a face mask – do anything you like to uplift yourself and this will really help change your mood.

3.       Go on a road trip

I love an adventure – just getting in your car with a friend or your boyfriend/girlfriend and sodding off for the day is sometimes the best! You don’t even have to go and spend lots of money on a day out. All you need is water, sweets and fuel in your car and you are free to drive wherever the roads take you

4.       Meet up with friends

Meeting your friends for a coffee and cake or food and just chatting can make you feel 100% happier – I love to meet up with my friends especially on a Sunday providing none of us are working and I can always guarantee that I will be laughing about anything and everything and it really does uplift me when I’m dreading going back to work

5.       Go to the gym

If your gym is open on a Sunday, take full advantage and get yourself there! You will feel so much better about yourself for getting up out of your bed and working out. Depending on your location and what gym you go to will determine whether its going to be busy or not but if you can go then go!

6.       Plan the week ahead

This one speaks for itself! When you have got a spare hour or so, sit down at the table with a diary and plan out what exactly you have on during the week. Writing all of this in a diary will organise your week and you will feel so much better as all you will have to do is look in your diary and it will tell you what to do and when to do it!
